A group of elementary school students eating lunch welcomed a surprise guest to their cafeteria – President Obama. The president stopped by October 19 to congratulate the students on their reading skills and test scores.
“I wanted to come by and introduce myself, to say I’m very proud of you,” the president said. “I am hoping that you guys will continue to read, read, read, and that all of you are going to be really working hard not just this year but all the way through high school and then all the way through college.”

Well that is where a relaxed attitude of a soul communicates without a burden of governance. That is the grassroots level of the soul that has risen to its heights I am sure Michelle you will agree with me?
Why don’t you speak, - I know you are great doing a great job for the world by floating a blog for the President of a great country? I also want a bit of you as your friend on the internet. I am totally humbled by the actions of President Obama. He is a man with a golden heart, full of humanity for mankind and a great motivator. Although I live in Kenya, I voted for President Obama through moral support. May God bless and protect him all the time.

i am tired of this idiot coming into our schools whether it be in person or on video or any other means. stop trying to indoctrinate our children. Obama is not God. if anything, in my opinion, he represents the ‘anti-christ’ as defined in Revelations. America- stand up and wake up—- stand up for the constitution.

The president is so nice to visit the elementary school, also the pupils on the photos are kind to Mr. Obama, so i think there is a nice and pleasant school system in USA, —-what about high school system or college system?

How can Obama be anti-Christ while being so humanistic/humble?
Daniel may be a typical Texan who do not know much about the world.
Obama is a genuine leader who believes in staying in touch with the people; not only in the US but the world over.That is how we enjoy this blog.
Such characteristics make and project a real leader. President Obama, despite younger years, exhibits qualities which win him acclaim the world over for his ‘audacity of hope’ that he is inspiring for the present. Only time will tell if can match it with achievements in a country which has powerful vested interests/ vicious lobbies etc. Look at the funny conduct of Dick Cheney vis-a-vis his
President despite all the scandals of his own.

obama is just an ordinary and normal human in his purest form. encouraging kids to study hard is not only good for themselves. it is good for their parents and their country.
obama wants to ensure the USA has a competitive edge when it comes to education and invention. he wants the US to continue leading the world and that is why he is talking to the young people - the leaders of tomorrow.
he is not perfect. and i think the majority of those who dislike him, they do so because of the colour of his skin - lets be honest.
everyone in the US and the world at large has on opportunity to see for themselves the true worth of a black man - what can he do? and whatever a black man can do is repesented excellently in Barack Obama.
black or white what matters is the character and intellect of a person. skin colour has not been scientifically proven to contribute to a person’s level of intelligence.

Our 44th President is a great guy and I am so happy that he is doing what he knows best to do - ENCOURAGE and PROMOTE the young people. Wished I had this when I was their age.

Mr. President continue to be an inspiration. Students also need your encouragement at the college level, too.
It would be nice if one day with VP Biden you would drop in –surprise — at my alma mater, Syracuse University. I remember the great discussions about our nation and country in those classes at the Maxwell School.
