After days of uncertainty, Republican John McCain announced he is heading to Oxford, Mississippi, to participate in the first of three scheduled presidential debates with Democrat Barack Obama.
McCain had suspended his campaign to focus on a financial bailout plan now before Congress. While no agreement has yet been reached on legislation, his campaign says it is confident that progress has been made.
“The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the senator will travel to the debate this afternoon. Following the debate, he will return to Washington to ensure that all voices and interests are represented in the final agreement,” said a campaign statement.
Tonight’s debate will focus on foreign policy. The second debate will be a town hall featuring questions from undecided voters, and the third debate will be about the economy and domestic issues.
If you were moderating a presidential debate between McCain and Obama, what would you ask the candidates? Post your ideas below.

In which way are your policies different from Bush. Dont you think you think you have made things worse for yourself by choosing Palin as your running mate?

Dear Sir,
Greetings from India and we congratulate the Americans for setting up yet another milestone in how the Democratic Elections should be conducted.
My concern is what role Mr.Mccain would like India adopt post signing the Nuclear treaty.
Also in order not to stem the development model of Economy what policy change would be implemented if Mr Mccain becomes the President.

I would ask John McCain to reveal all of his health conditions and ask what medications that he is currently taking. At times it seems like he has dementia, and I’m not being skunky here. He seems so out of touch, angry, and short tempered. I personally think he is ill suited to be Commander-in-Chief due to his temperament and the fact he has made so many blunders in judgment, including choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate.

“Mr. Mccain, its been widely publicized that you have voted with President Bush 90% of the time. In what way are you a ‘maverick” and an agent of “change” when its arguable that you share the socio-economic thinking which has reduced the US economy to its knee’s ?”
“Mr. Obama, by saying that meeting foreign dignatries such as the Iranian president etc. U said that there only needed to be “preparation” and not “pre-conditions” before you would sit with them. . .What did you mean by that? Especially in light of the the way some international leaders are carrying themselves. . .

“Governor Palin, how can you keep saying that the Obama/Biden campaign is mired in the past, as if past actions don’t represent anything valid for what comes in the future? As Maya Angelou said, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time”. All candidates have shown us who they are precisely by their own past actions and decision making records.”

Barack Obama is the man to be the President of USA.
He really talks sence and Mcain is just a wounded soldier .Please tell the American people to vote for Obama.
VP candidate makes a big diferance and Joe is so qualified and Sarah Palin cant even hold a candle for all the achievemts Joe has during his tenure with the us govenment.
Please people dont vote for looks vote for people who will do something for the nation.Bush promised the world to the American people but fooled everyone.
Why is the fox chanel so biased to the republicans do they get paid for it.Come on folks be fare to the world.
Dont twist and turn the comments of Mr Obama who has been a gentlemen todate not individually attaching anyone but ms Palin is starting as it looks difficult for them to win.
Obama will make a great US president and give him the dues to ahead and lead the us and bring back the pride it had.Lots of work has been paved by the previous admin and he is the man to change us and the world.
All the best,

Why does both candidates shows allegiance with Israel? Is it the holocaust? or there is something that the world doesnt know? or that is what the american people want to hear? Id like both candidates explain to us.
If is the holocaust then what about the slave trade, colonization etc in Africa. Doesnt it also attract the same sympathies attached to the holocaust?
The candidates are both very intelligent men and From my liberal point of view, I think i will root for Obama.
Thank you.
